Prosecco Bortolomiol Valdobbiadene DOCG – Brut – “PRIOR”
This is the number one among the sparkling wines of the Bortolomiol heritage line. The Roman numeral on the bottle and the name Prior testify that Giuliano Bortolomiol had the intuition to create a Prosecco Brut at a time when only an Extra Dry existed. Prior symbolises Giuliano’s pioneering spirit and his belief in Prosecco di Valdobbiadene (today Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG) and in the Martinotti-Charmat method of sparkling wine production with fermentation in autoclaves, also known as the Italian method.

Documents from the mid-18th century bear witness to the existence of Bartolomeo Bortolomiol, the forefather that passed down the family name and profession for generations.
