The largest sub-region here is Grave del Friuli, with more affordable but often less distinctive wines. The fact that this region is so highly praised for its excellent white and red wines is due not only to the soil but, above all, to the climate.

Intense red with garnet reflections, transparent and crystalline. Aroma of ripe fruit with herbal notes.
