Friulano DOC – Cormòns Friuli –
The terrain of the Friuli Isonzo DOC area is incredibly varied: the landscape around Cormons and Gradisca to the north consists mainly of limestone soil, rich in minerals and therefore ideal for viticulture.
Another part of this terrain is shaped by floodplains and soils at the foot of the hills, home to wonderful white and red wines and the beautiful town of Cormòns.

Friulano DOC – Cormòns Friuli –
The largest sub-region here is Grave del Friuli, with more affordable but often less distinctive wines. The fact that this region is so highly praised for its excellent white and red wines is due not only to the soil but, above all, to the climate.
Third ripening period, last ten days of September. The wine rests on its own lees for 7 months in large oval oak casks of various woods.
Sunflower gold yellow, shining with lime-green reflections. Aromas of hazelnut, with almond notes and fragrant dried flowers.
- Alcohol
- 13% Vol.
- Grape variety
- 100% Friulano (formerly known as Tocai)
- Characteristics
- Refined, full, pure flavour of toasted almonds and walnuts, silky.
An excellent aperitif, also pairs well with cold-cut and prosciutto-ham antipasti, fish and shellfish, fish soup, boiled meat, hearty pasta dishes and herb risotto, boiled asparagus and white meat.
